#1
FLATBED UV PRINTING
large format printing of shop signage

UV flatbed printers have a flat surface on which a flat substrate is placed for printing. This technology enables us to print your signage on paper, film, fabric, PVC, acrylic, glass, metal, wood, and more.

A flatbed digital printer uses the same ink as a jet printer, but the difference occurs during its application process. We can print full colour directly onto the substrate with UV light, including white ink. Upon touching the artwork, it is fully cured and ready for display. Furthermore, the adjustable beds on flatbed printers allow us to print materials of varying thicknesses and sizes.

Due to its environmental and economic benefits, UV printing is fast becoming the new industry standard as printing technology advances. Using no solvents, we can produce fewer waste cartridges, less indoor air pollution, less drying time, and more efficient prints.

DIGITAL LATEX PRINTING
shop signage perth digital latex printing

HP first popularised Digital Latex Printing. It is a new technology that addresses many issues associated with inkjet printing.

Latex printers use a microscopic latex film to embed pigments into a six-colour water-based inkjet. Afterwards, using heat, we evaporate the water and set the latex.

Moreover, this technology can produce vibrant, consistent results across various substrates at high speeds. The prints come out completely dry and scratch-resistant. Also, our latex printers can cut and print signs efficiently in large formats.

Due to its ability to print on coated or uncoated materials, Digital Latex Printing is fast becoming one of our most versatile and popular printing methods.

SOLVENT INKJET PRINTING
national corporate signage solvent inkjet printer

Printing with solvent-based inks is more versatile than dye- or pigment-based inks. Using them for an outdoor signage project makes them more durable and weather-resistant.

In order to create liquid ink, pigments must be mixed with a solvent. Afterwards, the printer head transfers the liquid to a substrate. Hard layers of ink remain after the solvent evaporates.

Prints made with solvent are waterproof and have a long life outdoors. However, the advent of new UV technology is making solvent processes obsolete, as it offers sharper images, greater detail, more colour options, printability, faster printing, and fewer safety hazards.

CNC ROUTER CUTTER
cutting a corporate signage

CNC (computer numerical control) routers use different-sized ‘bits’ to route (or hollow out) materials based on computer programs. Frequently, we use it to fabricate dimensional letters, logos, and symbols with bevels, edges, and textural effects. Also, to enhance the 3D effect, these shapes may be covered with vinyl, surface-treated, or painted.

A router allows us to create signs that push the boundaries of engineering and creativity. They are capable of cutting almost any material. Using such technology, our design teams can create highly sophisticated signage solutions.

Besides reducing waste and minimising error frequency, CNC routers are efficient and cost-effective, improving overall productivity and work quality.

DYE SUBLIMATION PRINTING

The dye sublimation printing technique is a full-coverage printing method. Sublimation involves the transfer of a dye onto polyester fabric. We print your artwork with a dye sub-transfer paper and heat it  to transfer the design to a piece of cloth.

A superior texture and stunningly vivid colours make this product a real treat to the eyes. The best results can be obtained when printing on white or light-coloured fabrics, and we can print in full colour, including fluoro, metallic, and reflective colours.

The benefits of sublimated signs include being vibrant and lightweight, easy to clean, portable and storable, and more eco-friendly than vinyl.

LAMINATION
business signage lamination

Laminates enhance signs, which protect, preserve, and extend their lives.

Lamination involves coating a sign with a clear or semi-clear protective coating. There are two common types of lamination used in signage: thermal (hot) and pressure sensitive (cold).

The lamination process uses a plastic film sheet backed with adhesive resin. A hot roller applies the resin to the substrate surface, melting it and gluing it smoothly and evenly, hardening it as it cools.

A plastic film with adhesive backing is rolled on a large machine in cold lamination. When hot lamination may damage or damage sensitive signs, we use cold lamination instead.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT
SIGNAGE PRODUCTION

It will vary on many factors, such as the type of signage you want, the intricacy of details, material availability, and the bulk. We usually ask our clients to give us 3 weeks.

That will depend on what type of signage and the placement. Acrylic is a versatile material for making signs for both indoor and outdoor applications. Many colours are available for the material, but display signs mostly use clear acrylic with digital printing on the back.

Once again, it depends on the type of sign you choose. We do provide FREE quotes if you don’t want rough estimates. Just fill up this form and we’ll quickly get back to you!
